Kabir Lambo is a Nigerian-American, born and raised in Providence, Rhode Island. He began his work in Political Education in high school as a member of Youth In Action, where he led workshops and developed curricula dedicated to teaching his peers about healthy lifestyle choices. In college, he founded Sorry4TheBlog, a local website committed to celebrating Black and Brown creatives. After graduating in 2014, he was a member of AmeriCorps College Advising Corps at Hope High School supporting high school seniors as they navigated the college application process. He also co-developed the Fred Hampton Institute through DARE. He moved to NYC in 2016, and since then, he has been teaching 8th grade Social Studies at Brooklyn Ascend Middle School in Brownsville. As an educator and facilitator, he applies all the expertise he has developed over his career to engage with Black Radical and liberating practices. He also enjoys long podcasts, video games, and watching films with his wife.
