
Sanmathi (Sanu) Dev, Esq. is an attorney at the law firm of Capehart Scatchard and concentrates her practice on the representation of boards of education and school districts in all areas of education law including: labor and employment, special education, Section 504, student discipline, student records, Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act, Anti-Bullying Bill of Rights Act, School Ethics Act, student residency, civil rights, tenure, negotiations, Open Public Records Act, and Open Public Meetings Act. In connection with these representations, she is an experienced litigator before State and Federal courts.
Sanu founded and serves as the Chair of Capehart Scatchard’s Diversity and Inclusion Committee. She also serves as Capehart Scatchard’s Hiring Shareholder. Sanu graduated from Boston University and Rutgers Law School. She is licensed to practice law in New Jersey, Pennsylvania, District Court for the District of New Jersey, and Third Circuit Court of Appeals.
