Tishara is an educator, partner, and Afro-Caribbean folk dancer. Working professionally in the field of education for the past 8 years, she founded RECLAIM JOY, where she provides 1:1 tutoring and yoga services for K -12 youth and adults. She is a former 3rd and 4th grade classroom teacher, and she is now an Adjunct Instructor at Augusta Technical College. Tishara implements social and emotional learning strategies, infuses Soca and roots reggae music as she works to create a culturally responsive and psychologically safe learning environment for all learners.
