Matt Grimes (he/him) is a multiracial-millennial, global citizen, education leader, and DEI scholar-practitioner. Matt builds capacity through amplifying humanistic leadership, encouraging on-going learning and development, practicing asset-based framing, and by co-designing anti-racist practices and policies. He provides culturally responsive consulting, training, and coaching services for schools, non-profits, cities, and corporate organizations. A former classroom teacher and school systems leader, Matt currently serves as the Head of Diversity, Equity, & Inclusion for the Cleveland Guardians Baseball Organization. Matt also serves as a member of the Board of Trustees for an urban charter school in Cleveland, OH, a Board Advisor to Siena College, and participates on several racial equity task forces.
