Erin O. Crosby is the Director of Operations and Communications at the Budd Center in SMU’s Simmons School of Education and Human Development. She has more than 10 years of professional experience in the social sector focused on organizational management, communications and program development. Erin began her career as a program coordinator for the YWCA of Metropolitan Dallas, facilitating life skills programs for teen parents. In 2005, she became the program and communications director for Leadership Women, designing learning opportunities for emerging and established leaders to expand their understanding of the issues and opportunities shaping Texas. Her op-eds on clergy sexual abuse and racial violence were published on and Erin holds degrees from Boston University and SMU. She is also a certified trainer and coach on human-centered change management.
