Anthony Castro’s a bilingual educator and the proud son of Cuban immigrants. He’s committed to partnering with educators and students to advance justice in classrooms. He earned his BA in Women’s Studies from the University of Florida and his Master of Bilingual Education from Southern Methodist University. Anthony began his career as a dual language elementary teacher where he taught multilingual learners in English and Spanish. He’s also worked as a fellow for nonprofit organizations to uplift teacher voice into policy. Anthony currently works as an ESL Instructional Specialist for a charter network in Texas, where he designs and facilitates learning experiences for school leaders to support multilingual learners.
