Hector is one of the community engagement managers at Lincoln Center Education as part of Lincoln Center for the Performing Arts, a Bronx native who has been working in family engagement and the arts for the last six years. As a theatre artist, he is a firm believer in the arts as a means for social change and liberation. As part of his trajectory, he has acted as the listed director for DreamYard’s School Aged Child Care License, an art center in the Bronx, he is a founding member of the Young Professional Advisory Council for the National Association for the Education of Young Children and has sat on the core organizing committee for The New York Collective of Radical Educators (NYCORE). He is a product of NYC public schools and holds a Bachelors in the Arts with a focus in Political Studies and Theatre from Bard College at Simon’s Rock where he graduated cum laude as their junior class fellow. He is currently working on his Children’s Program Administrator Credential at the CUNY School of Professional Studies.
